Mike is a long time racer from Lakeville Speedway, and has won about 20 heat & feature races over the past few years.

On the other hand Mike went through about 4 cars to get all these winnings. Lets say these other cars are not moving any more! LOL

This is Mikes new asphalt Pure Stock Car. Lets see if you can run into someone elses car and make a new friend! (thats how Mike & I met, he hit me in practice and about totaled my Ford with his Olds!)

IT HAS A 1971 .30 OVER 350 PONTIAC, HOLLEY RACE 500CFM 2BBL ON A RAM AIR 4 INTAKE. HARLAND SHARP ROLLER ROCKERS, EDLEBROCK GUIDE PLATES AND RAM AIR 4 CAM. TODAY WE WILL INSTALL THE 01 & UP FORD RANGER HIGH BEAM CONVERSION KIT.

1) WE START WITH AN 03 FORD RANGER TRUCK.

2) LETS OPEN THE HOOD AND GET STARTED.

3) ON THE DRIVERS SIDE OF THE TRUCK, YOU WILL REMOVE THE HEAD LIGHT.

4) FIRST, REMOVE THE 2 BOLTS (7mm) THAT HOLD THE UPPER HEAD LIGHT COVER ON.

5) NEXT PULL UP THE 2 HEAD LIGHT RETAINER SLIDES. YOU MAY HAVE TO PULL
ON THEM HARD, BUT DO NOT PULL THEM OUT, ONLY MAKE THE RETAINERS LOOSE!

6) NOW UNPLUG THE 9007 HEAD LIGHT BULB SOCKET,

AND ALSO THE TURN SIGNAL BULB, SO YOU CAN REMOVE THE HEAD LIGHT.

7) INSIDE THE CORE SUPPORT YOU WILL SEE A 10MM NUT THAT IS ON A GROUND POST.

REMOVE THE NUT AND INSTALL THE CONVERSION BOX WITH THE GROUND RING TERMINAL<.p> WE USED A SHALLOW SOCKET TO CLEAR THE BATTERY!

8) IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS INSTALLED:

9) THIS NEXT STEP WILL TAKE A FEW MINUTES. UNHOOK THE FOG LIGHT SOCKET FROM
THE BULB, AND BRING THE WIRING UP THROUGH THE CORE SUPPORT SO YOU CAN WORK ON IT.

YOU WILL HAVE TO UNDO A COUPLE OF PUSH-IN CLIPS THAT ARE TAPED TO THE HARNESS.

YOU WILL ALSO HAVE TO UNPLUG A ROUND SHAPED SOCKET AND BRING IT UP AS WELL. (SEE PIC)

JUST BE CAREFUL, AND TAKE YOUR TIME. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT STEP!!

10) INSTALL A SINGLE T-TAP TO THIS TAN/ORANGE WIRE. DO NOT CONNECT TO THE BLACK WIRE!!

11) AFTER YOU INSTALL THE T-TAP, PLUG IN THE BLUE WIRE FROM THE CONVERSION BOX.

IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS INSTALLED:

RE-TAPE THE HARNESS FOR THE OEM APPEARANCE.

YOU CAN ALSO SOLDER AND HEAT SHRINK FOR THE BEST CONNECTION. (SUGGESTED)

THE REASON WE PULL THIS WIRE UP FOR CONNECTION, IS TO KEEP THE
CONNECTION UNDER THE BUMPER, OUT OF THE WEATHER. GO AHEAD AND RE-INSTALL
THIS FOG LIGHT WIRE AND PLUG IT BACK IN. ALSO BE SURE TO PLUG IN THE SNAP CONNECTORS

12) INSTALL THE OTHER T-TAP TO THE HIGH BEAM POSITIVE WIRE. THIS WIRE IS GREEN
WITH A BLACK STRIPE. NOW PLUG IN THE WHITE WIRE FROM THE
CONVERSION BOX TO THIS T-TAP.

RE-TAPE THE HARNESS FOR THE OEM APPEARANCE.

YOU CAN ALSO SOLDER AND HEAT SHRINK FOR THE BEST CONNECTION. (SUGGESTED)

IT WILL LOOK LIKE THIS INSTALLED:

13) LOCATE THE FUSE BOX PANEL, REMOVE THE LID, AND THIS SIDE ACCESS PANEL COVER.

14) REMOVE THE 10MM NUT ON THE INNER SIDE OF THE POSITIVE ACCESS POST.

15) INSTALL THE LONG, LOOMED WIRE WITH THE RING TERMINAL, TO THIS POST.

RE-INSTALL THE 10MM NUT AND DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!!

RE-INSTALL THE FUSE BOX COVER AND LID.

16) WITH ALL THE WORK THAT HAS BEEN DONE YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO CHECK YOUR WORK.

TURN ON THE HIGH BEAM HEAD LIGHTS, AND THE FOG LIGHTS SHOULD
TURN ON AS WELL! JUST CHECK THE PASSENGERS SIDE OF THE VEHICLE.

IT SHOULD NOW LOOK LIKE THIS:

17) IF ALL IS WORKING WELL, THEN TUCK AWAY THE EXTRA WIRING WITH SUPPLIED ZIP TIES,

18) THEN RE-INSTALL THE HEAD LIGHT AND TAKE YOUR TIME ALIGNING THE MOUNTING STUDS!

19) RE-INSTALL THE UPPER HEAD LIGHT COVER WITH THE 7MM BOLTS.

20) CLOSE YOUR HOOD AND YOUR DONE!

1) THIS IS WHAT WE START WITH, ON 05 FORD F150 SERIES TRUCK

2) LETS OPEN THE HOOD AND GET STARTED

3) ON THE PASSENGERS SIDE OF THE TRUCK YOU WILL REMOVE THE HEAD LIGHT

4)NOW PULL THE HEAD LIGHT OUT AND YOU WILL SEE THE SOCKETS,
REMOVE THEM FROM THE HEAD LIGHT

5) TO MOUNT THE CONVERSION BOX REMOVE THE BOLT THAT CONNECTS
THE FENDER TO THE CORE SUPPORT

6) NOW MOUNT THE CONVERSION BOX WITH THE GROUND WIRE UNDER THE BOLT HEAD

7) CLEAN THE WIRING BACK SO YOU CAN WORK WITH IT.
YOU WILL SEE 3 WIRES ON THE HEAD LIGHT SOCKET. INSTALL A T-TAP TO THE
WIRE ON THE RIGHT SIDE, AND THE COLOR IS GREEN WITH BLACK STRIPE ON THIS TRUCK.
ON THIS WIRING SOCKET, THERE IS A LETTER "C" UNDER THE WIRE CONNECTION

8) UNPLUG THE FOG LIGHT SOCKET AND BRING THE WIRING UP SO YOU CAN WORK ON IT.
CLEAN THE WIRING BACK AND YOU WILL SEE THE WIRING COLORS, AND YOU WILL BE NEEDING
THE ORANGE COLORED WIRE OUT OF THIS LOOM, NOT THE BLACK WIRE.
INSTALL A T-TAP ON THIS ORANGE WIRE, AND THEN PLUG IN THE BLUE WIRE FROM THE
CONVERSION BOX TO THIS T-TAP.

9) PLUG IN THE WHITE WIRE FROM THE CONVERSION BOX TO
THE GREEN WITH BLACK STRIPE WIRE WITH THE T-TAP

10) TAKE THE LONG LOOMED WIRE WITH THE FUSE LINK ON THE END AND CONNECT IT
TO THIS POSITIVE POST ON THE BATTERY

IF THE HIGH BEAM KIT QUITS WORKING, CHECK THIS FUSE!!

11) NOW TURN ON THE HIGH BEAM HEAD LIGHTS AND CHECK ON THE DRIVERS SIDE
OF THE TRUCK, AND THE HIGH BEAM KIT SHOULD BE WORKING

TUCK BACK ALL WIRING WITH THE SUPPLIED ZIP TIES

INSTALL THE HEAD LIGHT AND YOUR DONE!

Here we will install the 00-05 Chevy Monte Carlo High Beam Kit in a 2000 Chevy Monte Carlo

Lets open the hood and get started. On the left side, or Drivers
there are 2 head light reatiner pins that need to be removed. Simply pull the
retainer pins up, and pull the head light out, and unhook the wiring hanress socket.
Clean the wiring back and hold the plug in hand like this with the clip facing you
as seen in this picture. The top wire will be BLUE & the bottom wire will be BLUE.

On the clip you will notice small letters showing what holes the wires are in.

These will be the wires you will install the red T-Taps into.
PINK TO PINK
FUSE LINK TO ORANGE
BLUE TO BLUE

Now install the conversion box to the ground stud on the core support
beside the head light mounting bracket. Leave it loose for now, just get it started.
It does not have to go up against it, just close enough the head light will still fit!

Were almost done! We now re-install the head light and make sure you
install both retainer clips. Tighten down the ground nut.
DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!!

Your ride should look like this now with the HIGH BEAMS on....lighting up the road!

Here we will install the 00-04 Chevy Impala High Beam Kit in a 2004 Chevy Impala

Lets open the hood and get started. On the left side, or Drivers

1) THIS IS WHAT WE START WITH, ON 06 CHEVY 1500 SERIES TRUCK

2) LETS OPEN THE HOOD AND GET STARTED

3)ON THE DRIVERS SIDE OF THE TRUCK YOU WILL SEE THE
ROD HOLDING IN THE HEAD LIGHT, THIS NEEDS TO BE REMOVED

4)NOW PULL THE HEAD LIGHT OUT AND YOU WILL SEE THE SOCKETS, REMOVE THEM FROM THE BULBS

5) DRILL AN 1/8" HOLE HERE TO MOUNT THE CONVERSION BOX

6) NOW MOUNT THE CONVERSION BOX WITH THE GROUND WIRE UNDER THE SCREW HEAD

7) IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS WHEN INSTALLED

8) CLEAN THE WIRING BACK AND YOU WILL SEE THE HIGH BEAM AND LOW BEAM WIRING COLORS
THE HIGH BEAM IS ON THE INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE, AND THE LOW BEAM IS ON THE OUTSIDE

9) TAKE THE T-CLIPS AND MOUNT THEM ON THE HIGH BEAM & LOW BEAM WIRES
AS SEEN IN THIS PICTURE. *DO NOT MOUNT THEM TO THE BLACK WIRES*

THE HIGH BEAM WIRE FOR THE T-TAP IS GREEN WITH WHITE STRIPE (ON THIS VEHICLE)

THE LOW BEAM WIRE FOR THE T-TAP IS YELLOW (ON THIS VEHICLE)

AGAIN....***DO NOT MOUNT THEM TO THE BLACK WIRES***

USE A PAIR OF PLYERS AND CRIMP THE T-TAPS INTO PLACE!

10) PLUG THE WHITE WIRE FROM THE CONVERSION BOX TO THE HIGH BEAM T-TAP

11) PLUG THE BLUE WIRE FROM THE CONVERSION BOX TO THE LOW BEAM T-TAP

IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS WHEN YOU HAVE THEM HOOKED UP!

12) NOW RUN THE LOOMED WIRING THROUGH THE CORE SUPPORT AND
KEEP IT AWAY FROM ANY AND ALL MOVING PARTS!!

13) LOCATE THE 12V POWER SUPPLY BOX AS SEEN IN THIS PICTURE.
IT SHOULD BE RED IN COLOR AND HAVE LOOMED WIRE RUNNING IN AND OUT OF IT.

14) OPEN THE RED POWER SUPPLY BOX AND REMOVE THE NUT INSIDE.
THIS TRUCK HAS AN 11/16" SIZE NUT

15) INSTALL THE LONG LOOMED WIRE WITH THE RING TERMINAL ON THE POWER SUPPLY STUD
AND THEN RE-INSTALL THE 11/16" NUT

16) DONT FORGET TO CLOSE THE RED POWER SUPPLY BOX!!!

17) USE THE SUPPLIED ZIP TIES AND TIE BACK ANY LOOSE WIRING

18) NOW TURN ON THE HIGH BEAM LIGHTS AND IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS!
IF THIS IS WHAT YOU SEE ON THE PASSENGERS SIDE THEN YOUR ON THE RIGHT TRACK

AT THIS STEP THE HIGH BEAM KIT IS WORKING, AND BOTH LOW & HIGH BEAMS ARE ON

19) NOW PLUG THE HEAD LIGHT SOCKETS INTO THE BULBS ON THE DRIVERS SIDE AND
INSTALL THE HEAD LIGHT ASSEMBLY INTO THE TRUCK & WATCH FOR PINCHED WIRES!

20) CHECK YOUR WORK AGAIN AND MAKE SURE ALL BULBS ARE WORKING...YOUR DONE!

3) ON THE DRIVERS & PASSENGERS SIDE OF THE TRUCK YOU WILL
REMOVE THE HEAD LIGHTS & PARKING LIGHTS.

4) BE SURE TO TAKE OUT THE PARKING LIGHTS FIRST. A TAB IS LOCATED HERE.

5) YOU HAVE 2 10MM BOLTS RIGHT HERE THAT NEED TO BE REMOVED
IN ORDER TO TAKE OUT THE HEAD LIGHTS.

6) NOW UNPLUG THE HEAD LIGHT BULBS FROM THE SOCKETS,
AND REMOVE THE HEAD LIGHT. CUT THE WIRE LOOM BACK
TO EXPOSE THE HEAD LIGHT WIRE COLORS.

(USE A PAIR OF PLIERS TO INSTALL THE T-TAPS)

INSTALL A T-TAP ON THE PINK HIGH BEAM WIRE,
AND PLUG IN THE PINK WIRE FROM THE CONVERSION BOX.

INSTALL A T-TAP ON THE BLUE LOW BEAM WIRE,
AND PLUG IN THE BLUE WIRE FROM THE CONVERSION BOX.

INSTALL A T-TAP ON THE ORANGE LOW BEAM WIRE,
AND PLUG IN THE FUSE LINK WIRE FROM THE CONVERSION BOX.

7) INSIDE THE CORE SUPPORT, YOU WILL SEE AN EAR THAT YOU WILL DRILL
AN 1/8\" HOLE IN. INSTALL THE CONVERSION BOX WITH THE GROUND RING TERMINAL HERE.

8) IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS WHEN IT IS INSTALLED AND PLUGGED IN!

9) CHECK YOUR WORK. IF EVERYTHING IS WORKING CORRECTLY,
THEN RE-LOOM YOUR WIRING AND TAPE UP THE
HARNESS LIKE IT WAS STOCK. TUCK AWAY THE EXTRA WIRING WITH THE SUPPLIED ZIP TIES,

10) THEN RE-INSTALL THE LIGHTS AND THE GRILL.

11) CLOSE THE HOOD AND YOUR DONE!

9) INSERT THE NEW BATTERY TERMINAL EXTENDER INTO THE BATTERY CABLE

10) NOW BOLT THE NEW BATTERY TERMINAL EXTENDER INTO THE
BATTERY WITH A 5/8" WRENCH. REMOVE THE SMALL NUT, AND MOUNT THE RING TERMINAL
BE CAREFUL NOT TO PINCH THE WIRES!

11)ON THIS STEP YOU CAN SEE THE FUSE HOLDER.
IF YOUR SYSTEM EVER QUITES, CHECK THIS FIRST!

12) INSTALL THE T-CLIPS, ONE ON THE GREEN WIRE, AND ONE ON THE BROWN WIRE

3) TAKE THE OLD PARKING LIGHTS OUT OF OLD GRILL ON THE TRUCK

4) TAKE GRILL ASSEMBLY OFF OF TRUCK.

BE SURE TO NOT CUT ANY WIRES! TWIST THE AMBER LIGHT SOCKET TO THE LEFT TO TAKE OUT:

KEEP THE SPEED NUTS THAT HOLD ON THE EMBLEM:

KEEP THE SPEED NUTS THAT HOLD ON THE 4PC AMBER LIGHTS:

KEEP THE SMALL PLASTIC CLIPS THAT THE PARKING LIGHTS SCREW INTO:

5) CHANGE BUMPER FILLER END PIECES AT BOTTOM OF FENDERS. THERE ARE 3
SCREWS ON EACH BUMPER END FILLER PIECE:

6) IF CHANGING HEAD LIGHT ASSEMBLIES, DO IT AT THIS POINT

FOR THE TRUCKS WITH THE 4 SMALL SQUARE SEALED BEAM LIGHTS LIKE IN THE ABOVE PICTURE
YOU WILL NEED TO CONNECT THE NEW HEAD LIGHT SOCKETS TO THE STOCK WIRING
SOLDER (FOR BEST CONNECTION)

THE NEW HEAD LIGHT SOCKETS ARE 9006 (LOW BEAM OUTSIDE) AND 9005 (HIGH BEAM INSIDE)

KEEP IN MIND THAT THERE IS A HOT AND A GROUND FOR EACH HEAD LIGHT SOCKET!

THE COLOR OF WIRE FOR THE 9006 LOW BEAM IS BLACK FOR GROUND & BROWN FOR HOT

THE COLOR OF WIRE FOR THE 9005 HIGH BEAM IS BLACK FOR GROUND & GREEN FOR HOT:

THEY JUST UNBOLT AND REBOLT IN PLACE OF ORIGINALS. THERE ARE
4 BOLTS PER HEAD LIGHT ASSEMBLY. SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS INSTALLED:

7) GET NEW GRILL READY FOR THE INSTALL. BOLT IN PLACE ON THE NEW GRILL THE EMBLEM, 4PC AMBER LIGHTS, AND INSERT THE 8 SMALL PLASTIC CLIPS THAT HOLD THE PARKING LIGHTS ON TO THE NEW GRILL

8) INSTALL THE NEW GRILL ASSEMBLY ONTO THE TRUCK. BE SURE TO INSERT THE BOTTOM THE CENTER FILLER FIRST, THIS WAY IT WILL FIT BEHIND THE BUMPER. IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS:

9) INSTALL THE PARKING LIGHTS

10) CHECK TO BE SURE ALL THE LIGHTS WORK ON THE TRUCK
AND ALIGN THE HEAD LIGHTS BEFORE YOU DRIVE AT NIGHT!:

11) TO BEST POLISH UP THE CHROME GRILLS, USE A DRY PAPER TOWEL.

4) TAKE THESE SMALL BOLTS OUT, SHOULD BE AN 8MM

5) AFTER YOU TAKE OUT THESE BOLTS ON TOP, TAKE OUT THE LOWER PARKING LIGHTS
THERE ARE 2 SCREWS ON THE INSIDE OF THE LIGHT AS SEEN IN THE PICTURE

6) ONCE THE PARKING LIGHTS SLIDE OUT, REMOVE THE SOCKETS BY TWISTING THEM TO THE LEFT

7) BEHIND THE PARKING LIGHTS THERE IS ANOTHER 8MM SCREW ON EACH SIDE
OF THE TRUCK. REMOVE THESE SCREWS AND THE BASE OF THE GRILL SHELL IS LOOSE

8) NOW MOVE THE TOP OF THE GRILL OUT AND LOOK IN-BETWEEN THE GRILL
AND THE CORE SUPPORT. THERE IS ONE TAB UNDER EACH HEAD LIGHT THAT
IS ON THE GRILL AND THE CENTER FILLER. PUSH THIS TAB IN TO RELEASE
THE GRILL FROM THE FILLER

9) NOW IN THE CENTER THERE IS ANOTHER TAB THAT ALSO NEEDS TO BE REMOVED
PUSH THIS TAB IN AND THE GRILL WILL POP OUT FROM THE TRUCK

10) DO NOT PULL THE GRILL AWAY AS THE SIDE AMBER LIGHT SOCKETS ARE STILL
ATTACHED THESE SIDE SOCKETS ALSO TWIST TO THE LEFT TO BE REMOVED
(NOT PICTURED, BUT YOU GET THE IDEA)



11) NOW TO REMOVE BOTH HEAD LIGHTS, YOU WILL NEED TO FIRST TAKE OFF THE
RETAINER SPRING THAT HOLDS THE LIGHTS IN ADJUSTMENT, IT IS BEST TO USE A
PAIR OF VISE GRIPS OR A SPRING REMOVAL TOOL SO YOU DONT HURT YOURSELF!

NOW THAT THE SPRING IS REMOVED, PULL THE HEAD LIGHT OUT OF THE ADJUSTERS
BY PULLING DOWN AND OVER. NOW PUSH OUT THE ADJUSTERS THROUGH THE CORE SUPPORT

12) AFTER THE HEAD LIGHT AND ADJUSTERS ARE REMOVED, YOU WILL SEE 4 BOLT HOLES
THESE WILL BE THE HOLES YOU NEED TO USE TO INSTALL YOUR NEW HEAD LIGHTS

13) NOW HERE COMES THE MOST TIME CONSUMING PART.....THE WIRING!
PULL THE HEAD LIGHT SOCKET OUT OF THE CORE SUPPORT AND YOU WILL SEE 3 WIRES

BLACK IS GROUND
BROWN IS LOW BEAM
GREEN IS HIGH BEAM

THIS IS THE SAME FOR BOTH SIDES OF THE VEHICLE

CUT THE HEAD LIGHT SOCKET OFF AND SOLDER OR BUTT CONNECT THE 9005/9006 PIG TAILS
PLEASE SOLDER & HEAT SHRINK FOR BEST CONNECTION

THE LOW BEAM IS THE SOCKET WITH THE GREY COLOR
THE HIGH BEAM IS THE SOCKET WITH THE BLACK COLOR

PICK EITHER SIDE OF THE PIG TAILS FOR THE GROUND
NOW TAKE THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PIG TAIL AND CONNECT
FOR POWER ON THE LOW BEAM AND HIGH BEAM

**IF YOU ARE NOT INSTALLING THE HIGH BEAM CONVERSION KIT**

THE BLACK, WHITE, AND BLUE WIRE FROM THE HIGH BEAM CONVERSION KIT
CAN BE HOOKED UP ALONG WITH THE HEAD LIGHT SOCKETS AT THIS TIME

14) NOW TO INSTALL THE HIGH BEAM CONVERSION KIT

DISCONNECT THE POSITIVE CABLE FROM YOUR BATTERY

THERE IS A THREADED STUD THAT HOLDS THE CABLE TO THE BATTERY, THIS NEEDS
TO BE REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH THE NEW BATTERY TERMINAL EXTENSION

15) THIS IS WHAT YOUR CABLE LOOKS LIKE WITH THE NEW EXTENSION INSTALLED

16) FOR RIGHT NOW, LEAVE THE HIGH BEAM CONVERSION BOX LOOSE AND WE WILL
INSTALL IT UNDER THE HEAD LIGHT AFTER WE INSTALL THEM IN A BIT

17) NOW INSTALL THE HEAD LIGHTS WITH THE BOLTS FROM THE WORK TRUCK INSTALL KIT

BE CAREFUL NOT TO PINCH ANY WIRES WHEN YOU BOLT THEM DOWN

18) NOW WE INSTALL THE HIGH BEAM CONVERSION BOX UNDER THE RIGHT HEAD LIGHT

ALSO HOOK THE YELLOW POWER WIRE FROM THE HIGH BEAM CONVERSION TO THE NEW
BATTERY TERMINAL EXTENSION, AND TIGHTEN THE NUT, THIS GIVES POWER TO THE CONVERSION BOX

BE SURE TO PLACE IT EXACTLY WHERE THE HOLE IS IN THE PICTURE SO IT
DOES NOT GET IN THE WAY OF PARKING LIGHTS WHEN THEY GET INSTALLED

19) NOW INSTALL THE SIDE LIGHTS, AND THE EMBLEM INTO THE GRILL WE ARE GOING TO INSTALL
ALSO INSTALL THE 8 FASTNERS THAT GO INTO THE PARKING LIGHT HOLES, 4 ON EACH SIDE

ON THIS TRUCK WE INSTALLED THE DIAMOND HEAD LIGHTS, DIAMOND SIDE LIGHTS
AND THE DIAMOND PARKING LIGHTS

20) NOW INSTALL THE GRILL ON THE TRUCK, AND FIT THE TOP OF THE GRILL OVER THE CORE SUPPORT FIRST
NEXT SLIDE THE BOTTOM OF THE GRILL INTO THE CENTER FILLER AND LET IT CLICK INTO PLACE

21) CHECK ALL THE LIGHTS TO BE SURE THEY WORK AT THIS POINT!!

22) AFTER YOU KNOW THEY ALL WORK, INSTALL THE DIAMOND PARKING LIGHTS

23) NOW THAT ALL THE LIGHTS WORK, CLEAN OFF ALL YOUR TOOLS
& GO AHEAD AND CLOSE THE HOOD!

24) LETS CHECK THE LIGHTS AGAIN TO BE SURE.....

HERE ARE THE PARKING LIGHTS TURNED ON

24) HERE THE LOW BEAM HEAD LIGHTS ON.......NICE!!

25) NOW, YOU CAN SEE THE HIGH BEAM CONVERSION AT WORK......SWEET!

Here we will install the S10 High Beam Kit in a 2002 Chevy S10 Blazer

Lets open the hood and get started. On the right side, or Passengers
there are 2 head light reatiner pins that need to be removed. Simply pull the
retainer pins up, and pull the head light out, and unhook the high beam socket,
low beam socket, and the side marker light.

Pull back the wire loom so you can see the colors of the low beam & high beam
wiring. In the kit you are supplied 3 T-taps, and they are placed on the wires
as shown. The low beam YELLOW & BLUE get a T-Tap, and the high beam PURPLE wire
will also get a T-Tap installed.

Now you will need to drill a 1/8" hole so you can mount the high beam conversion
box, and the ground wire. Be sure NOT to drill into your radiator!!!

After the high beam conversion box is installed with the ground wire, it should
look like this.

Were almost done! We now plug the PURPLE wire into the PURPLE wired T-Tap on the
high beam side of the wiring harness. And then plug the YELLOW wire to the YELLOW
wired T-Tap, and the fuse link wire, to the BLUE wire, also on the low beam side

Check your work before you re-install your head light, and then your done!

Your ride should look like this now with the HIGH BEAMS on....lighting up the road!

This truck is a 2002 Chevy 2500HD.....so lets get started!

This is what we will end up with!! LETS GET STARTED!!!

Open the hood and remove the left or drivers side head light,
by removing these pins that hold the head light in place.

After you have removed the head light, & right above the grill,
there is a 10MM bolt that goes to the core support that need to be removed.

Now with the bolt we just removed, we need to install our High Beam Conversion Box,
along with the ground wire, and tighten the bolt back in place.

Now take the high beam socket on the left side, and the low beam socket on the right side,
and place the T-Tap Connectors like shown. Both wires on the high beam will get the
T-Tap Connectors, and only the YELLOW wire on the low beam will get connected.

Now with the 3 remaining wires, we will plug the YELLOW from the High Beam Conversion Box to the YELLOW wire on the low beam wiring harness.

We will also plug the PURPLE wire from the High Beam Conversion Box to the PURPLE wire on the high beam harness. The remaning wire has the fuse link on it, and this plugs into the ORANGE wire on the high beam harness.

Now plug the head light sockets back into the head light bulbs, and check your work before
we re-install the head light assembly. Then remove your tools and close the hood.

If all is working fine, then your on this step! This is your LOW beam Head Lights.

And now this is what your HIGH beam lights look like! All 4 bulbs are lighting up the road!

Today we will install a set of Euro Tail Lights in a 99 Chevy Silverado

1) This is what we start with, a stock set of tail lights

2) Open tail gate and you will see 2 screws inside the jamb. Remove the upper screw

3) Now remove the lower screw

4) remove the tail light from the bed of the truck

5) Now you will see there are 3 sockets that need to be removed

6) Push the tabs in and twist the sockets to the left to remove them

7) Now get the Euro lights and you can see there is something over the socket holes to keep dirt out of them before you install them. Remove the covers and clean the surface the best you can.

8) Now install the sockets into the new tail lights by twisting the sockets in until the tabs snap back in place. With this paticular truck we installed Super White 3157 back up bulbs as seen in picture

9) Now install the new tail light into the truck bed as seen in the picture

10) Now put the 2 screws back in to hold the tail light in place

Your done with this side!

Do the same thing for the other side tail light.

1) THIS IS WHAT WE ARE STARTING WITH. WE HAVE A 1995 CHEVY WORK TRUCK.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH ROOM TO WORK COMFORTABLE AROUND YOUR TRUCK AND GET TO YOUR PARTS FOR THE JOB. POP OPEN THE HOOD AND LETS GET STARTED.

2) LETS START TAKING OFF THE GRILL. UNSCREW THE FASTNERS AT THESE POINTS

3) UNSCREW THE PARKING LIGHTS AND REMOVE THEM

4) TWIST THE SOCKETS TO THE LEFT TO REMOVE THEM OUT OF THE LIGHTS

5) BEHIND THE PARKING LIGHTS THERE IS ANOTHER GRILL MOUNTING POINT ON EACH SIDE. REMOVE THE FASTNERS.

6) BETWEEN THE GRILL AND THE CORE SUPPORT THERE ARE 3 MOUNTING POINTS FOR THE CENTER FILLER. LOOK AT THERE CONNECTION AND YOU CAN SEE THE GRILL POPS OUT OF THE FILLER, AND THE FILLER STAYS MOUNTED TO THE TRUCK. REMOVE THE GRILL FROM THE TRUCK AND PLACE FACE DOWN.

7) REMOVE THE EMBLEM FROM THE TRUCK IF NEEDED TO USE ON THE NEW GRILL.

8) REMOVE THE SEALED BEAM HEAD LIGHTS AND CUT OFF THE HEAD LIGHT SOCKETS. STRIP THE WIRING SO WE CAN CONNECT THE NEW 9006/9005 HEAD LIGHT SOCKETS.

THE WIRING FOR THE LEFT SIDE OR DRIVERS SIDE IS BLUE=GROUND, BROWN =LOW BEAM 9006, GREEN=HIGH BEAM 9005.

THE WIRING FOR THE RIGHT SIDE OR DRIVERS SIDE IS BLUE=GROUND, BROWN =LOW BEAM 9006, GREEN=HIGH BEAM 9005.

FOR BEST CONNECTION SOLDER THE WIRING TOGETHER AND HEAT SHRIK THE CONNECTION. GO AHEAD AND GET YOUR 9006/9005 HEAD LIGHT SOCKETS AND TAKE ONE WIRE FROM EACH SOCKET (DOES NOT MATTER WHICH ONE) AND SOLDER THEM TO THE BLUE WIRE FROM THE STOCK WIRING ON THE TRUCK. THIS COMPLETES THE GROUND FOR BOTH SOCKETS. NEXT SOLDER THE REMAING WIRE FROM THE 9006 SOCKET TO THE BROWN WIRE. NEXT SOLDER THE REMAING WIRE FROM THE 9005 SOCKET TO THE GREEN WIRE. BE SURE TO HEAT SHRIK FOR BEST PROTECTION!

GO AHEAD AND COMPLETE THE HEAD LIGHT SOCKETS ON THE OTHER SIDE AT THIS POINT.

9) NOW TAKE THE OUTER PARKING LIGHT SOCKET ON EACH SIDE AND SPLICE BACK THE GROUND WIRE AND THE PARKING LIGHT WIRE SO THERE IS ABOUT 1/2 BARE WIRE FOR CONNECTION.
TAKE YOUR 194 SOCKET FROM THE WORK TRUCK INSTALL KIT AND SOLDER THE GROUND TO THE GROUND WIRE ON THE TRUCK AND THE OTHER WIRE FROM THE 194 SOCKET TO PARKING LIGHT WIRE.

10) NOW MOUNT YOUR HEAD LIGHT ASSEMBLIES WITH THE BOLTS FROM THE WORK TRUCK INSTALL KIT. ALL THE CORE SUPPORTS HAVE THE MOUNTING POINTS FOR THE HEAD LIGHTS THREADED AND READY FOR INSTALL!

AT THIS POINT, LETS CHECK ALL OF OUR WIRING TO MAKE SURE WERE CORRECT AND ALL THE LIGHTS COME ON.

11) AT THIS POINT WE SHOULD BE LOOKING LIKE THIS WITH THE HEAD LIGHTS INSTALLED.

12) NOW TAKE THE NEW GRILL AND INSERT THE 8 PLASTIC CLIPS FOR THE PARKING LIGHTS

13) INSTALL THE CORNER LIGHTS AND THE EMBLEM AT THIS TIME WITH THE SPEED NUTS FROM THE WORK TRUCK INSTALL KIT.

14) YOUR GRILL ASSEMBLY SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS WHEN READY TO INSTALL

15) NOW SLIDE THE GRILL ASSEMBLY OVER THE HEAD LIGHTS AND PLUG IN THE SIDE LOWER LIGHTS TO THE 194 SOCKETS, THEN INSTALL THE BOTTOM OF THE GRILL TO THE CENTER FILLER ON THE TRUCK. BE SURE THE MOUNTING POINTS FOR THE TOP OF THE GRILL ARE CENTERED OVER THE MOUNTING HOLES.

BE SURE TO PULL THE 4 SOCKETS FOR THE PARKING LIGHTS OUT OF THE PARKING LIGHT HOLES IN THE GRILL BEFORE YOU MOUNT THE GRILL TO THE TRUCK!!

16) TAKE THE NEW PARKING LIGHTS AND INSTALL THE SOCKETS. THEY WILL FIT SNUG AND JUST ABOUT LINE UP EXACT.

17) SCREW THE PARKING LIGHTS INTO THE GRILL WITH THE SCREWS FROM THE WORK TRUCK INSTALL KIT AND YOU SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS WHEN YOUR DONE!

18) CLEAN OFF YOUR TOOLS AND SUPPLIES AND CLOSE THE HOOD.
