Here we will install the 03-06 Chevy Truck High Beam Kit in a 2006 Chevy 1500
Let’s open the hood and on the drivers side head light, you will need to remove this rod that hold the head light in place.
Now pull the head light out and you will see the sockets, remove them from the bulbs.
Drill an 1/8" hole here to mount the conversion box.
Now mount the conversion box with the BLACK ground wire under the screw head.
It should look like this when installed!
Clean the wiring back, you will see the high beam and low beam wiring colors.
The high beam is on the inside of the vehicle, and the low beam is on the outside.
Take the T-Taps and mont them on the high and low beam wires as seen in this picture.
Do Not Mount Them To The BLACK Wires!
Use a pair of pliers and crimp the T-Taps into place.
Plug in the WHITE wire from the conversion box to the high beam T-Tap.
Plug in the BLUE wire from the conversion box to the low beam T-Tap.
It should look like this when you have them hooked up.
Now run the loomed wiring through the core support and keep it away from any and all moving parts!
Locate the 12V power supply box as seen in this picture.
It should be RED and have a loomed wire running in and out of it.
Open the RED power supply box and remove the nut inside.
Install the long loomed wire with the ring terminal on the power supply stud and then re-install the nut.
Don't Forget To Close The RED Power Supply Box!
Use the supplies zip times and tie back any loose wiring.
Check your work then plug your head light sockets back into the bulbs.
Install the head light assembly into the truck.
Make sure not to pinch any wires.
Check your work again and your done!
