88-98 GMC TRUCK
Here we will install the 88-98 Chevy, GMC Truck High Beam Kit in a 1993 Chevy 1500
Let’s open the hood and get started.
Remove the parking light on the passengers side.
Drill an 1/8" hole here to mount the conversion box.
Now mount the conversion box with the BLACK ground wire under the screw head. It should look like this when installed.
If you bought a battery terminal extender you will now remove the original battery cable holder located here.
Insert the new battery terminal extender into the battery cable.
Now bolt the new battery terminal extender into the battery with a 5/8" wrench. Remove the small nut, and mount the FUSE LINK ring terminal. Be careful not to pinch the wires!
Install the T-Taps one on the GREEN wire, and one on the BROWN wire.
Plug in the WHITE wire from the conversion box to the GREEN wire.
Plug in the BLUE wire from the conversion box to the BROWN wire.
And then re-install the parking light.
Turn on your low beams and check your work.
Now turn on your high beams.
